March 20, 21 and 22, 2006, Darrell brought his message to the students at Pinewoods Elementary School in Estero, Florida.  Dr. Denise Carlin, Principal had this to say:  "He recently visited our campus during the week of Author's Parade and delighted our children, parents and staff members with his incredible story-telling talents and his upbeat music.  I was most impressed with Mr. House's ability to inspire future writers and to bring a smile to every child's face.
